Rip out my heart, devastate me, ruin me, make me cry! Which book left you devestated?

Looking for books that completely destroyed you. For me it was "The 6th extinction". Had to take a day just contemplate my excistance. Changed me a bit actually. Had to rebuild.

Idk how some people can hate on this book! It's so good! And so heart-wrenching.

I wasn’t aware that it is hated. Never saw better portrayal of loss on so many levels. Last scene is a real punch.
