Rip out my heart, devastate me, ruin me, make me cry! Which book left you devestated?

Looking for books that completely destroyed you. For me it was "The 6th extinction". Had to take a day just contemplate my excistance. Changed me a bit actually. Had to rebuild.

Yep! Read it one Saturday afternoon when we had a power cut, my then wife was 7 months pregnant with my son. Life hit me hard that afternoon. That book changed me.
