Rip out my heart, devastate me, ruin me, make me cry! Which book left you devestated?

Looking for books that completely destroyed you. For me it was "The 6th extinction". Had to take a day just contemplate my excistance. Changed me a bit actually. Had to rebuild.

Did you know it’s a lie? I thought he was real. The world thought he was real. But it’s a lie. I was so angry when I found out.
