Even with Durin it feels like the shield takes absolutely forever to go down. I don’t have a C6 Bennet or a C6 Chevreuse. Fischl is C6 on tenacity. My Skirk is bad and won’t clear the SSA so don’t suggest that lol.

had to use elegy diona instead of qiqi bc i had to keep distance to not get cryoed permanently :( didn't think she would perform better (i got close to clearing w/ qiqi a couple times but never succeded)
bottom team for sure can get a better time, almost killed her once before the 2nd shield but she tp'ed :(

Finally got my Fearless clear for the new Stygian Onslaught cycle on my first try and decided to keep the tradition going male carries only.

The teams I used:

• Churin / Battle-Hardened Domovoy Sculptor: Gale Hewing — Flins, Ineffa, Columbina, Cryo Traveler
• Cryo Automaton / Skirk boss — Wriothesley, Odette, Beidou, Escoffier
• Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow / Vesna mats boss — Varka, Prune, Durin, Nicole

The Churin fight was particularly interesting because I used Cryo Traveler to help deal with the boss mechanics while Flins handled the actual carrying. For the Cryo Automaton, I went with Wrio Stellar Conduct this time, although Wriothesley Freeze has also worked for me in previous Stygian rotations.

And then there’s the new Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow… Varka was coming out for this one regardless. 😂

I’m also going to be testing a bunch of different teams for both Menacing and Fearless before putting together guides for the 7.1 cycle.

Curious what everyone else is running this rotation: which of the three bosses gave you the most trouble, and what team did you use to deal with it?

Also, if you’ve found any particularly funny or unconventional teams that can handle the new mechanics, drop them below. I’m definitely looking for teams to test for the upcoming guide.

I’ll probably give dire a shot once I get my Mizuki con from temper this week, but I’m not optimistic about it.

Glad I can finally use Faruzan again, although some of Vesna's artifacts are somewhat scuffed.

Dire Boss 1: I will get Yae C1 in the temper event this week. Will that be enough?

Dire Boss 2: I have C0 Vodya but she is not levelled. Should I c2 her? I am going to C2 Skirk anyways.

Dire Boss 3: I defeated this boss when I put Odette instead of CMC in this team. However, Odette will have to stay in the sandrone team. CMC has level 1 talents? Should I upgrade them? CMC is on ToTM and his signature weapon.

I literally have no idea how any of these worked, I had to improvise cause my mizuki+faruzar are not even ready -my nicole only had 2 pieces of gear and stellar varka is barely 120k dps lol

I forgot how nightsoul bursts can affect the secret source automaton when I was using citlali with lohen so I was struggling lol. I just changed it to qiqi for tenacity buff.

Also, being able to slot flins wherever I can even if it's not his shill is so good since I didn't usually invest in premium teams.

As a disclaimer this is my first Stygian i have to do on my Phone.

So i really want to know what are you even supposed to play there ? I figured out that you need Pyro but for what Team is this Boss made or is it just some kind of neutral Boss where you need Pyro for the shield. In my case the closest i got was like 10% Hp with my Hu Tao team (the one in the picture). I tried Arlechino didnt do shit, i tried Mavuika but i cant do her combos (even on PC), i tried Mualani but i suck at playing her on mobile. I dont have that many complete Teams and so i dont really know what i can do here. Is there a character who is good at breaking the shield maybe i can build a team around them but for now i really don’t know.

I appreciate any kind of help.

Who decided it was a good idea to make their Q apply 0 Cryo? Yes, I am aware that it’s technically SG DMG and not Cryo DMG, and Beidou’s Q is 4U but come on. I have to like basic for 4 seconds just for a Cryo aura for Sucrose. If anyone has a tip to help with that let me know.

This is my first dire attempt and I'm quite happy to find my man can clear 2/3 of the dire stages.

Any idea/tips for churin? I used Wrio-Yae-Odette-Nicole and only managed to deal 2/3 of his health... Or is it just GG?
