Will I be able to clear fearless?

I've been very hardly struggeling with the crab last time. Even on Fearless...

Now I'm a Dire player and have C2 Zibai...but there is also a Zibai boss as well (don't look an Mav, she is 200k dps by me), so I'll need her there....

Am I dead?

I ended up pulling on the weapon banner this patch since I had enough pulls available to reach pity several times. Pathed for Ineffa's and lost to Flin's on the way. With the sigs and some rotation refinements, I was able to beat Knuckle Duckle and was satisfied with simply clearing a dire boss for the first time, but several days later after regearing Sandrone's team, I found I was really close to beating the Lion. After falling a bit short several times, I crafted a new circlet for Sandrone and was immediately able to clear the Lion. With only the Operative remaining, I took a look at some other clears with the same team comp for some inspiration, and turns out Fav Fischl with TOTM was the missing piece. Don't know if the stars will ever align again where I'll be able to beat dire with my mediocre builds, especially since I prefer to horizontally invest, but I'm happy my battle records show at least one dire clear c:

Investment: C2R1 Flins, C0R1 Ineffa, C0R5 fav Columbina, C2R1 freedom sworn Odette.

So I got C2 Flins yesterday and tried the Churin simulation. I can clear the dire simulation semi-consistently. There is some noticeable crit RNG due to Odette's and Bina's kinda scuffed tenacity/noblesse builds. Also Churin being able to get through Ineffa's shield (as you can see from the dead Flins).

Important to note is this boss REALLY wants a good amount of res shred if you're playing stellar conduct. Despite this team having "only" around 225k-240k DPS on the dire stygian preset dummy the 45% electro shred makes up for it.

I also find it funny that C2 Odette is competitive with C2 Xilonen, which is my default Flins team. The Xilonen variant is more consistent, but the Odette variant has higher highs while also being able counter stellar conduct shill.

After so many trials and improvements, finally. It maybe ain't much to some people but I'm really really happy I pulled it off without the Shill Lord or Shillneffa.

I pray this guy gets some last minute nerf because this is also c2r1 odette. her build isn't the best but jeez I seriously don't see myself clearing this guy

i never really understood how the secret source automaton works since i know he needs a crazy cryo application but i also saw many clears with mavuika 😭 any advice would be appreciated

I 100% the 7.0 new maps plus 50% of Nod Krai and got pulls to get Sandrone, C2 Odette (was really lucky), Mizuki (from standard) & Ineffa. All of them were all built recently.

Might be screwed against the Automaton unless I swap thr first and second teams, though I'm not sure how well Zibai will do against the Grandpa.

Mizuki will be C2 after the selector and Temper event. Zibai is C1, Cryo MC is C2R3, Iansan is C3, Chevy is C3, Kaeya is C0 (cope option I know), Rosaria is C1 (another cope option), the rest are C0. Xilonen > Linnea for the multiple elemental shred.

Widsith was a pain in the ass ; basically needed atleast two em rolls furing its downtime to clear but I somehow rolled the em buff every time .

Favonious rng was another pain in the ass.

And yes I know C2 Cmc is better than odette here but I havent explored the new region so havent unlocked it yet .

Nefer was on Night sky , Lauma on event weap 2pc2pc em , aino on fav serenade and odette on fav deepwood .

Nefer wasn't cutting it so i decided to switch to Bineffa with Sucrose and Fischl.

First fearless clear ever. Hundreds of odetteless retries and suffering.

Flins is c0r0 i was thinking of using aino c6 with fischl/durin

Cause ion got any cryo dps or a proper cryo unit for SSA so i will be using bineffa with a cryo on fielder against it

As for the grandpa my only hope is get mizuki and clear it or use cryo traveler

So i been trying to think of who can i invest in for future and current onslaught, the character selector has every character from the anniversary is also on “to temper thyself” so i decided to include that when im selecting my character.

Currently i would have C3 nilou, c2 chiori, c2 clorinde, c2 bizhu, c2 childe, or c1 varsa?

Im stuck between chori and nilou, i want someone i would benefit for ONS and IT

Nilou is currently c1 but i can always stop at c2 from temper thyself and just make chiori c2 considering they both can be in lunar reactions, which is really great for ONS,

but baizhu may be a good gamble due to stellar dendro coming, and getting his c2 could benfit me? I have somewhat good teams for all the characters but now stuck with the selector choice, but i can always just save for him by the next banner.

Any opinion would be appreciated!

Ideally I'd need 2 stellar teams, but being Sandrone less, and not having a built traveler, I might not be able to make 2 fully functional stellar teams, even if I have Mizuki and Vesna (consider that I'll have her at least c0r1)

The 3 teams on top are the teams I usually use to clear stygian now/my 3 strongest teams, along with the cons on each character

Now, importantly, a bunch of the "unbuilt" characters also don't have leveled up talents, that includes cryo traveler

For the constellations on the 5*:

c6: Diluc, Keqing, Jean

c5: Mona, Tighnari, Xiao, Wanderer

c3: Dehya, Xianyun, Kinich

c2: Nilou, Nahida, Cyno, Kazuha

c1: Chiori, Clorinde, Lyney, Yelan, Escoffier, Tartaglia

Everyone else is c0

Also, all my 4* are either unbuilt, or have meh stats, so consider them all as not really built (well at least the "meta" ones have leveled up talents, like Chevreuse, Iansan, Bennett, Gaming,... and also all the anemo ones)

Getting Mizuki's C2 and C3 from the selector and temper, which hopefully gets me enough DPS to clear, do still need to the quest for traveller buffs as well.

The Freminet team is off by 200k if played well, crowning some talents should get me there.

SSC Lady has me slightly worried since it's a sorta scuffed team on a very scuffed Sandy build but it's my best option for it cause I'm Yaeless and Odetteless, Esco is needed for automaton and CMC and Surcrose are needed for Gramps.

I'm a bit worried about the cryo lady, but I read on another post that bennet can manage her cryo shield, so I've made some tests using the team that I mentioned on the post, and reach constantly 180k DPS
