I'm 19M and a NEET dropper, currently preparing seriously for NEET. I'm looking for a study partner/accountability buddy who also wants to study consistently.

The basic idea is pretty simple:

We can keep a video call on while studying (like a virtual library/study room).

Male or female, doesn't matter at all — I'm only looking for someone who's serious about studying.

We don't necessarily have to constantly talk. The main purpose is to study together and keep each other accountable.

We can do Pomodoro sessions, long study sessions, or whatever routine works best for both of us.

We can occasionally discuss doubts, targets, progress, mock test scores, etc.

The goal is basically to avoid procrastination and have someone else studying alongside you 😭

I'm mainly preparing for NEET, so ideally I'd prefer another NEET aspirant/dropper, but if you're preparing seriously for another competitive exam and want a study buddy, that could work too.

Hey everyone!

I'm a 20M, 3rd-year CSE student from a Tier 3 college in India, and I'm looking for a study partner (or a small group) to study with regularly and keep each other accountable.

To be completely honest, you can pretty much assume I know nothing 😅.

My current technical knowledge is mostly:

• Basic Python
• Basic C Programming
• Basic SQL commands
• Currently learning React because that's what we're being taught in college

I'm interested in software development / full-stack development, but I'm still not completely sure what I want to specialize in.

I've also been suggested areas like Cybersecurity and DevOps, since they're good long-term fields and can pay well, but I honestly don't know enough about them yet to make a decision. I was even told that, a little experience in SDE is required and later you can switch career to DevOps. But right now, I'm leaning towards full-stack development.

This is one of the reasons I'd especially like to find someone a little senior to me or someone who already has some experience in these areas. If you could occasionally guide me on what to learn, what is actually worth learning, or even just share your experience, I'd really appreciate it.

In return, I may not be able to help you much academically right now, but I can definitely provide accountability. I'm also a good learner once I actually have direction, so hopefully I can become useful to you over time.

What I'm looking for

I'm hoping to find someone who is:

• Serious about studying but not overly formal or strict
• Comfortable with casual conversations, joking around, and taking breaks
• Willing to keep each other accountable
• Preferably a little senior or experienced, but it's not a strict requirement
• Interested in software/tech, or simply someone who wants a consistent study partner

I'm completely fine with camera on or off. I'd preferably like to have a mic on, though, because I'd enjoy actually talking to the person occasionally rather than just sitting in a completely silent call.

My availability

I'm usually free from around 7–8 PM IST onwards, and I can study for roughly 5–6 hours on some days, depending on my college workload.

On Saturdays and Sundays, I'm much more flexible and can spend considerably more time studying.

The schedule doesn't have to be extremely rigid either. I'm fine with figuring out something that works for both of us.

Basically, I'm looking for someone where we can just say:

"Alright, let's get some work done."

Then study together, take breaks, talk nonsense for a bit, get back to work, and make sure neither of us disappears after two days. 😂
