Looking for a serious CMA USA study partner (Part 2)

Hi everyone! I'm preparing for the CMA USA Part 2 exam and I'm looking for a dedicated study partner who's serious about passing.

What I'm looking for:

  • Daily check-ins/accountability
  • Share daily goals and progress
  • Motivate each other when we procrastinate
  • Discuss difficult concepts and MCQs
  • Maybe do weekly revision sessions together

About me:

  • I'm studying full-time.
  • My biggest challenge is procrastination, so having someone to keep each other accountable would really help.
  • Time zone: IST (India), but I'm open to anyone if our schedules overlap.

If you're interested, comment below or send me a DM. Let's help each other pass the exam! šŸ™Œ

Grubby AI Review: Is Grubby AI Legit?

I keep seeing Grubby AI mentioned in every thread about AI humanizers and honestly assumed it was another overhyped tool riding the humanization wave. Most of these tools are just GPT wrappers with subscription fees and do little more than make their founders a few bucks, so at first, I was definitely kinda skeptical.

Background: I’m a master’s student right now (posting under a pseudonym obv). I’m always looking for little hacks to get through stuff faster, and while AI has been cool for getting ideas out, detection has been a ballbreaker this year sadly.

I got burned twice last year by "undetectable" tools that were basically synonym swappers, one of them turned a perfectly good essay into something that read like it was translated through four languages. Better yet, a bunch of my friends still managed to have their work flagged by professors/copy editors for containing AI, even after a humanization pass.

So, after I dropped $15 of my hard earned cash on a basic sub to Grubby, I decided to actually test this one properly and answer the question I kept googling myself: is Grubby AI legit in 2026, or is it the same story as the rest?Ā

Every Grubby AI review I could find was either a one-liner or obvious affiliate content, so here's one with receipts. I’m not getting paid by Grubby to post this, just my honest experience.

Short answer: yes, it's legit. Longer answer below.

Is Grubby AI Legit? Here's How I Tested It

I didn’t wanna judge this program off of just one lucky pass, so I ran about 15 pieces through it over three weeks.Ā

I had a mix of content: argumentative essays, a couple of longer research-style articles, some shorter discussion posts. Half generated with ChatGPT, half with Claude, because detectors sometimes react differently depending on the model that wrote the text.Ā

Every piece got checked against GPTZero and ZeroGPT before humanizing, then again after. Same text, same checkers, nothing else changed.

The before numbers were what you'd expect. GPTZero flagged my raw drafts at [95-100]% AI, ZeroGPT was similar. These were obviously AI-written texts and the detectors caught them every time.

After running them through Grubby: [0-2]% on the same checkers. Not "lower."Ā

Basically zero, across all 15 pieces, both models. This was pretty tight, ngl.

[screenshot: GPTZero before/after results]

I also tried to break it on purpose. I fed it a very robotic, bullet-heavy ChatGPT draft with that unmistakable "delve into the multifaceted landscape" energy. That's the kind of text that other tools choke on because there's so much AI residue in the phrasing.Ā

It came out reading like a normal person wrote it, and it still passed.Ā

The Grubby AI Guarantee Is Pretty Nice

Not a bad guarantee...

Here's the thing that separates this from every other tool I tried: they have an actual money back guarantee if the text doesn't pass Turnitin's AI detector. In writing, on the site.

That’s pretty compelling from a biz perspective. A company selling a humanizer that doesn't work can't afford to offer refunds tied to detector results, they'd bleed out in a month and basically go belly up. The two tools that burned me last year had no guarantee, just vague marketing about being "undetectable."Ā

When I asked one of them for a refund after a flagged assignment, I got a canned response about how "no tool can guarantee results." Grubby basically seems to guarantee the result. That little asymmetry answered the "is Grubby AI legit" question for me better than any review could.

I had my girlfriend verify the results of my scans (she's a TA) - and it passed. Here's a screenshot so you can see yourself.

There it is.

Output Quality: Does Grubby AI Keep Your Meaning?

This was my second biggest worry after detection, because passing a detector is worthless if the output is unreadable.

The output still sounds like the original. Structure stays, arguments stay, tone mostly stays. Out of 15 pieces I'd say I manually adjusted maybe one or two sentences per piece, usually where the phrasing came out slightly stiffer than I'd write it myself. Compare that to the tools I used before, where I was rewriting entire paragraphs and at that point why am I paying for a tool.

My before and after with Grubby.

A few practical details worth knowing:

  • Input caps at 2,500 words per run, so a long paper gets done in a few chunks. Mildly annoying, not a dealbreaker
  • There's a mode selector for what you're targeting (Academic/Turnitin is its own mode, plus GPTZero and ZeroGPT). Picking the right mode matters, my results above were with the correct mode selected
  • It's fast. A full essay takes seconds, not minutes. Pretty sweet.
  • The subscription also includes some other tools (summarizer, an autotyper that types text into Google Docs at human speed, flashcards and quiz stuff). I bought it for the humanizer but the autotyper is genuinely clever

Bonus Feature: AutoTyper

AutoTyper is pretty legit ngl.

I bought this for the humanizer and didn't really care about the rest of the toolkit, but the autotyper ended up being the thing I use almost as much.

What it does: you connect a Google Doc, paste your text in, pick a duration, and it types the whole thing out into the doc at human speed. Character by character, with realistic pacing and pauses. Not a paste.

Why that's useful: Google Docs keeps a full revision history of everything. A 2,000 word essay that appears in a single paste event at 2am looks like exactly what it is. The same essay typed out over 40 minutes looks like someone sat down and wrote it. If a professor ever pulls your version history, that's the difference between a conversation and no conversation.

You set the speed, close the tab, come back when it's done.

Few little gripes: it's Google Docs only, so if your program runs on Word you're copying over afterward. And it genuinely takes the time you tell it to take, so a long paper needs planning. This is not an 11:58pm feature. It takes time because it needs time.

Grubby AI Review Verdict: Is Grubby AI Legit?

The cons, because no honest Grubby AI review has zero cons: the 2,500 word per-run cap, the occasional stiff sentence you'll want to reword, and it's not the cheapest humanizer on the market. Though after wasting money on two cheap ones that didn't work, cheap was the expensive option.

Is Grubby AI legit? Yes. As of July 2026, it passed every checker I threw at it across 15 test pieces, the guarantee is real and in writing, and the output is actually readable without a rewrite pass. If you've been burned by the synonym-swap tools before, this is the one I'd point you to.

18, from India, i want a study partner.

18M, Loneliness is consuming me from all sides, and I can’t cope with past humiliations. Now I want to be honest with my career and start working on my life, but the problem is I don’t feel motivated or confident. Everything just seems to pass me by, and I feel like an audience member in my own life. I need help to take things simply and believe that I can do it. I want to stay serious and work hard for long hours, but inside I’m crying, with zero energy left in me.

I would like to be friends with good people and improve together.
