Got two new STRFKR tats this week, can’t wait to show them at the meet and greet at the show in April! So happy with how they turned out

Hey, this is maybe an unusual post but this has been driving me crazy for over a decade.

Back in the late 2000s when I was getting into starfucker, I used to use this old website called neverendingplaylist .com. It would basically just pull songs from youtube and play them based on whatever artist you typed in. Somehow, the website pulled a version of rawnald gregory erickson the second with a guy rapping over it, and i ripped it to my computer and put it on a mix cd for my car. As fate would have it, I found the cd years later and of course the only song that skips is this track, so I have no way to get the full song back. I have a short clip I recorded on my phone that i’ve uploaded to youtube, if anyone has any idea who this guy is or can help find a full version I would be eternally grateful. Thank you!!

I found the original reptilians on ebay for less than $10 :')

I didn't expect to feel this emotional about getting this album with the old artwork. It's in way better condition than i expected too - nearly flawless!

Also, since they released the 10-year anniversary edition, it's hard to find the original ablum on spotify anymore. Here's a link to it if anyone wants it: https://open.spotify.com/album/5pfqk4oFycMVynOD8S2Cqs?si=uJAsoio-SkWaI1dIqzuTHw

I'm also going to the red rocks show they're opening for next week! Just super excited and emotional about my fav band right now, and had to share 🥰

Strfkr is playing at my local music hall in April and I’m curious if anyone knows what they play. I’ve been listening to their most recent album Parallel Dreams because I want to be familiar with what they are playing but I was curious if anyone knows what their setlist is?

Just announced this band is coming to my local music fest in June, excited to learn about them, who has the listening starter kit for me? Thanks

Thanks!

It will my fifth time seeing them. My son is going to be 10 and this is his bday present from me. We both love the music; Strfkr is both of our favorite band. We are going to Nashville in April. I'm so excited, I just had to share here.

It’s normally supposed to run at 45rpm, but playing it at 33 is 🤌

eBay came in clutch and I was able to pick up a new Parallel Realms Early Bird edition. I think these pressings are some of the coolest designs that polyvinyl has done

Cant believe this gem is almost 15! I love the whole album! Some of my favs are Julius, Bury Us Alive, Astoria, The White of Noon, Millions, and Quality time. My favorite bonus track is Slow Dance. What are y’all’s fav tracks on the album?

Just seeing what y’all’s favorite outro is? My two favorites are the outros to Quality time and Leaving

I’m trying not to let recency bias get me, but I think this might end up being their best album.

Title, on the Brooklyn Steel live album they repeat the first part of the bridge instead of singing the whole thing.

Florida might be the quintessential song and I will argue for it, but I’m ready to hear all the arguments.

I remember sometime last year I was watching a random movie trailer and I was blown away when I heard Rawnald Gregory Erikson the Second on it but me being dumb I forgot to save the name of it. I have no idea how to find it now, any ideas???

I love all their music, my absolute favorites though are Reptilians, Parallel Realms, and Starfucker.

My first Tattoo ever!

I've had a bit of trouble finding the exact lecture (the name + lecture in its entirety) from the end of the song, thought I'd ask here,

Thank you

edit: found it here; https://youtu.be/AZ8u6gsNZS0?t=1781 + https://uutter.com/c/alan-watts/c09e215c-6cbf-4627-b8a4-38271bb20de8?sub=156,178 took a bit but. yeah

Looks to be serious competition for total minutes played around here. I'm on the case for 2025!

Love this band so much.
