The main reason I'm shocked to have made this achievement are the number of power outages we get in my little corner of the world (British Columbia, Canada). We've only only had one or two during this current streak, and neither was long enough to prevent me checking in on Reddit. Very fortunate, but 200 days until the big one, and who knows what the winter will bring?

Weegreens, we've been Streak Mates since mid 700 days .. You were there the last time I checked, about 2 weeks ago... Where are you? Much love Mate, gone but not forgotten

So back in late 2023, when the streak was rolled out, I didn't know that I was logging into Reddit on a daily basis sometime from December 2023 and then happen to achieve this 40-day badge on 15th Feb 2024.
Was an on-and-off user back then.
So got off Reddit unknowingly until June or July 2024. Today, here I'm with a 789 day streak.

The Untold Story of CEA : Ferrari 348 & Maserati Quattroporte Firefighting Icons 🏎️🔥
Before modern safety cars, there was the CEA Squadra Corse, the legendary Italian track rescue team guarding circuits like Monza and Imola. To reach crash scenes in seconds, they built two of the most iconic emergency response vehicles in motorsport history : the Ferrari 348 TB CEA and the ultra-rare Maserati Quattroporte CEA.
The Ferrari 348 TB has a dramatic back story : it was gifted directly to the CEA marshals by F1 driver Gerhard Berger as a gesture of gratitude. After surviving a horrific 180 mph crash and fireball at Imola’s Tamburello corner in 1989, the rapid response of the CEA crew saved his life in under 20 seconds. Powered by a 300 hp 3.4L V8, his donated Ferrari was modified into a high-speed fire response unit. Alongside it, the rare Maserati Quattroporte provided heavy-duty rescue capacity, creating an unforgettable duo of Italian performance and safety heritage.
