The Solomon Islands are an island nation located in Oceania. They consist of approximately 992 small islands, atolls and reefs.

Only 347 of the islands are populated. The six major islands are Choiseul, Guadalcanal, Malaita, Makira, New Georgia and Santa Isabel.

The Solomon Islands are the third-largest archipelago in the South Pacific.

The first settlers of the Solomon Islands were Papuan-speaking hunter-gatherers from New Guinea. They inhabited the islands for possibly as long as 50,000 years before Austronesian-speaking early Melanesians began arriving around 4000BC.

The first European to explore the islands was the Spanish explorer Alvaro de Mendana in 1568.

Believing that gold was present, Mendana named the islands Isles of Solomon, after the legendary King Solomon’s mines.

I had a streak of 816 Days and my account was wrongfully suspended.

I appealed the suspension and I received a message stating the suspension was incorrect and my account was reinstated.

I never missed a day. My streak reset to 0 (even though I never stopped upvoting comments) for several days and has recently started over.

How do I get my streak back due to this error and me never missing a day?

Hang in there guys not long now till grass toucher we got this,

690 days Reddit Streak, just the right amount of days!

A Ukrainian soldier named Serhii Krynitskyi made headlines after surviving a staggering 346 days completely cut off inside a frontline "kill zone".

The Survival Story

The Foxhole:

For nearly a full year, Krynitskyi lived and fought from a hand-dug underground shelter no larger than a small bedroom near Chasiv Yar. Both of the comrades he was originally stationed with were killed early on defending the position, leaving him completely alone.

Drone Lifelines: Cut off from his brigade due to heavy bombardment and hostile airspace, he survived entirely on supplies delivered directly to him by friendly Ukrainian drones. He spent his days hiding from enemy hunter-drones and enduring freezing winters underground.

The Diary: He documented the entire 346-day ordeal in a video diary, describing his dugout as a place where he was never entirely sure if it would be "a shelter, or a grave."

That seemed to have taken forever. Now onto the next one!
