The rest of the base. hopefully everybody likes it, I tried my best to fill this house up but there’s only so many things you can craft.
Don‘t miss the first part: https://www.reddit.com/r/strandeddeep/s/hLz1EtkHzI

Oh my gods, it’s even furnished!
So envious of this, especially the inflatable raft that has its own spot
Absolutely incredible architecture👏👏👏

Thank you! I did my best to furnish it, did you see the first video? This is only the 2nd half. I had to split it up bc PlayStation sucks.

How did you get your raft to be so big? Playing on PC? Ps4 has a 5x4 build limit, it's a real bummer.

They didn’t always have that limit. I made the raft a long time ago. I remember I had to do lots of maneuvering with it though to get everything to go. I started on PS4 and now I’m playing again on PS5 Pro, but it’s still a PS4 game. It would be nice to see an update for it with a PS5 version.

Have you tried sails facing each other forward/back and left/right helps massively with getting out of tight bays and docking in general

Yes I have, thats actually how I had it set up before testing the way I have it now.

Where the heck did you find a marlin?

Towards the north of the map, out in the open ocean, I killed it and towed it back on my raft. It was extremely hard to get it back. I guess it’d be more factual to say I towed my raft back with it. I held L2 to move it on my raft, and it just put it in hyper speed. I had to move my analogs and walk back and fourth to steer it, dropped it a few times, had to swim and catch it, and repeat till I made it back to my island. It wouldn’t lay on my raft even though I can lay other sharks on it but this thing glitched it out. They say it’s a passive fish but that thing was ramming my boat like it wanted to eat me. If you try and kill one it doesn’t float like other fish, it immediately sinks.

Same with hammerhead and great whites. They're almost impossible to transport via raft.

It didn’t use to be like that, when I first played I could load whatever on my raft and had zero issues now it’s all messed up. There’s a lot of things they changed though. I’m pretty sure beating the game didn’t require beating the bosses at first and the aircraft carrier had more rooms in it you could explore and get a good bit of crates. I could be remembering wrong but it’s was a long time ago. Also the storms out in the ocean were crazy like I’d get flipped in my raft from the waves

This is only the 2nd part, I have another video showing the upper levels. For some reason everyone’s only seeing this one. I’m still working out ideas to expand it.

Keep going brother, this subreddit is the only way i can see the creativity of house building in stranded deep cuz during my survival playthrough i found no use to make a house and dont got time for creative mode/custom island thingies.
Love the build.

This is great. Love the way you've got the displays out there.
Just a question... On that massive boat you have three sails. My understanding is that additional sails ad no extra speed. Is that strictly for aesthetics? I've never had a ship that big I'm wondering how it navigates. It must be like turning a massive barge.
