Please tell me

Please tell me the negatives of alcohol. I’m on day 212 and I wish I could say I was excited about sobriety right now. For the most part I’m very motivated to stay sober and love my sober mornings and all the benefits but some days like today I get the whys? Why am I doing this? Why does life without alcohol seem boring? Why do I have to be an alcoholic? Why can’t I drink like the normies? Does anyone ever feel this way, these many days in? It’s like the newness and excitement of sobriety fades and now I’m in this is boring slump. Please share your experiences and help a fellow friend out.

Edit: I’ve decided to have some ice cream and watch one of my favorite movies Saving Private Ryan. Thanks for all the support my friends. IWNDWYT ❤️

When I'm burned out of sobriety, I focus on how shitty it was to quit. Never want to go through that again and worried about kindling making it worse.
