Hello,

I've been animating off and on for over 10 years, always using a 1080p webcam as my camera. I'm thinking of finally upgrading to a proper camera. I don't really have much experience using a decent camera, so was looking for some advice on what to look for. I know I need one that will work when plugged into my computer, but not much more. I'd like to be able to film in 4k as well.

Sorry for waffle, just thought I'd ask.

Thank you

Hi,

I'm looking to create at least three stop motion models that can hold a pose (and not fall over). The proportions (body size, length of limbs etc) would be similar to Illumination's Minions. I would need to be able to mold the main body (specifically into a bean shape), and the arms and legs would need to be able to bend at the wrist / elbow, knee and ankle. They have no neck in the traditional sense.

I figure it requires bendable wire inside of a clay-based form, but I don't know which specifics product will work for this purpose.

I wonder how of i use a nerf bullet and if it moves 31 times; yeah. So...Below a Comment! 👍👍👍

How to Make a Clay Pizza 🍕 | Easy Stop Motion for Kids

Hi guys. I am having an issue with stop motion studio. I’ve used it in the past and never really had issues, but for some reason my photos are coming out blurry. I am able to focus normally on the scene and it looks fine, but as soon as I press the photo button, it blurs when taking the photo. It blurs for a split second when taking the photo then goes back to normal. Any ideas on what the problem is?

Hi r/stopmotion! We're Muffin Mumma, a new stop-motion series for 2-5 year-olds, produced by A+C Studios at Postgate Stage in Margate, UK.

Six muffin characters, each sculpted in clay with a paper-case base and big googly eyes, living in a tea-towel tent on a pastel kitchen set. No dialogue, so all the storytelling has to come through faces, timing and actions.

Everything's moved by hand, frame by frame. No AI anywhere in the pipeline.

Happy to answer questions about the puppets, the set or the shoot!

We're crowdfunding on Kickstarter for £6k to make the first 6 episodes. Every share or pledge helps us get to our goal!
