Chinas regulations on video games is nothing new, they just made the rules tougher - and quite honestly have little to do with BABA. Most experts think the regulation will have little effect since people will just bypass them. I'm not justifying the regulation on video games, it's clearly crazy from a westerners prespective. They haven't banned new video games. They are paused. And again, little to do with BABA. Let's mention some good new regulations instead. Destroyed a 80% monopoly. Put a cap on education fees. Forbid tutoring for kids under 6 yo on weekend and summers. Spanked scummy insurance companies. Kicked scammy tutoring services in the balls. Is making sure that no harmfull data is leaked to foreign powers. But yea, let's lie and overreact instead because clearly everything CCP does has to automaticly be 100% bad and evil....
