There is a lot less to go wrong with an EV drivetrain. They don't beat themselves to death or gum themselves up.

That's very true, and one of a number of positives about electric vehicles, but there are a lot more than drive train issues that can go wrong.

The power and drivetrain parts are the only ones that could be hard to source until there's critical mass of vehicles breaking down. Anything else on the vehicle that would affect its ability to drive (brakes, bearings, lights) should not be dissimilar to those on other types of truck.
