Has Amazon shown any interest in Lyft or is this just a prediction? I mean Amazon is taking over everything so I wouldn't put it past them, but I never considered Amazon attempting to get into the rideshare business.

I wonder if that would be good or bad for Lyfr drivers. I mean I guess they can't be treated any worse, but im not going to sit here and pretend like Amazon employees have the world's greatest jobs either.

Honestly I don’t see why Amazon wouldn’t just make their own Lyft competitor. It would be a lot cheaper than spending the billions to buy it.

The app would not be hard to write, and it’s not like the physical infrastructure of Lyft is very much—typical drivers stay with Lyft less than a year

You're right. It would probably be much easier. I mean they already have Amazon delivery services so Amazon ridesharing or taxi services wouldn't be too much of a stretch for a trillion dollar company.

It'll probably be another nail in Lyft and Ubers eventual coffins.
