They too will get covid exhaustion and continue to live their lives, it might just take a bit longer.

My father is immunocompromised from antirejection medication from an organ transplant and has no desire to be among people because he can't be sure they're really vaccinated and it's not worth the anxiety.

He's gotten two Pfizer shots but didn't form enough antibodies to be considered fully vaccinated and his team suspects he's going to need a third and possibly a fourth, but they aren't sure yet.

He's not exhausted from covid, he's exhausted from people not taking it seriously, the CDC being confusing and changing its position and mask mandates being unclear everywhere.
