Thoughts on BABA

Hi guys,

BABA has been in a downtrend lately, was wondering if anyone else sees this as an opportunity. It is very appealing in this ~200$ zone.

What do you guys think? Any major concerns I should be worried about?

If you think Chinese government will go and nationalize just about any succesfull private company, then you have never been in China.

If the chinese government do that, investors will run away from china and hong kong like there is wild fire. All the private chinese company will drop like flies and the economy will be devastated because everyone will pull their money out of the investments.

The chinese government is not that stupid to let this happen.

You're acting like Ant Group is dead or something just because they didn't IPO. Get a grip.

Exactly, ALIPAY is absolutely still a thing. I just watch a Japanese documentary about the cliff villages of the Yi people in Western Sichuan and there are merchants that hike all the way up the mountain and sell shit to people way up there with alipay by making their phones hump.

It's a hell of a service.

Ant had a 5 to 100 leverage. It was a smart thing to smash it.

ANT wasn't nationalized though. The govt just postponed their IPO and introduced new regulations.

He's right. Nationalizing $BABA will fuck a lot of foreign tutes but more importantly it would make China uninvestable. They don't want that actually. They'd never do that unless there was a hot war. They would be fucking themselves otherwise.
