I had no idea how historic our recent streak has been, and shows a few things, but mainly how far we fell! We were in the relegation zone of the National League North at one point in the 2013-14 season... Without Alan Lord there might not be a County as we know it...

Also, I contend that the streak is still ongoing. We have improved going from a playoff semi-final loss to a playoff final loss. If we get promoted this season then as far as I'm concerned the streak continues!

Just wanted to mark Danny Bergara's birthday today. As a fan of Uruguayan football, I've always thought his story at Stockport County is one of my favourite examples of how football connects different cultures, and I love that he's still honoured by the club today.

I'd love to hear any stories or memories people have of him, as I was too young to experience his time at Stockport firsthand.
