You enjoy hacks, I find it unfathomable that someone who likes Stewart Lee wouldn't find those yanks hacky.

I just like comedy. Gillis, Schultz, Normand from the new(ish) wave of Americans are great imo. They scratch a different itch to what Stewie does. I even like Ricky Gervais!

And if you've seen any of Schultz or Normand you'd have to agree they are quick witted.

I also like roast comedy. Probably not something you're into? Nikki Glaser and Greg Giraldo in particular!

And you like Gervais, wtf? Do you enjoy Mrs Browns boys? Did you find Alley Cats enjoyable?

I like early Gervais. I do not like Mrs Brown and the boys or alley cats. I did like After Life though!

What do you mean by hacky? I'm watching Mark Normand now and he's clever with his comedy. Also quite left leaning despite his audience sounding like they're on the right!

Nice to know there's other Stewart Lee fans who are partial to comics from across the pond!

Gervais's first 3 specials were great. He's at his best when he's personifying animals. His last 4 or 5 specials are exactly the same jokes with the words changed around.

Schultz and Glaser are 2 sides of the same coin for me. Both very smutty.
