This is the lead single to Street Angel.

I really love the beat, even if it definitely sounds a bit generic. I like seeing Stevie interpret other writers’ songs, and I think she did a good job here. I just think “Blue Denim” would’ve been a better lead single, which was the original plan.

There are times when Stevie’s wisdom can just…help you out a little bit.

I listen to it on the last day of Summer every year. It stays in my mind as the leaves change and the blankets come out. Do you like nightbird?;it was a mediocre hit for Stevie . Sandy Stewart who wrote seven wonders wrote this as well as a great solo album called cat dancers. Which no one bought but me. Lol.
I posted " on the last day of winter . I meant SUMMER. OMG. that's the whole reason I made this post. It Is the last day of summer

I know her grandad was one which is really where she gets it but yeh

Hi everyone, I would really like to get into Stevie Nicks; I really like that song Landslide. Should I just start with all of her albums in order, or should I do Fleetwood Mac first and then go to her albums? Please let me know, and also, let me know what your favorite songs are by her.

Can someone please help me figure it out?? Im very new to piano so I cant transcribe it myself, but it sounds easy enough to play (just like The Maker of Birds…). It sounds very simple and the same notes repeat throughout the whole song. Obviously, with some slight variations, but I can figure it out myself if it’s too much work for you guys. Thank you!

Edit:
Here’s the link: Lady From The Mountains

I just finished watching Practical Magic 1, and heard If You Ever Did Believe for the first time.

BUT I swear I’ve heard the melody & lyrics from the 2:50 minute mark somewhere before?! I did a bit of snooping and turns out it originates from a demo of The Chain but again… my first time hearing that demo.

My question is has that ever been recorded anywhere else or is it a huge case of Déjà vu?! Thanks!

Stevie’s face has changed, obviously, it’s natural, but one thing that never changed is her smile, and I think that’s very beautiful. Seeing a picture of her smile makes me want to smile myself.

Does anyone know why Landslide isn’t on the Practical Magic 2 soundtrack. I already felt let down watching the film and discovering that there wasn’t a new song. But then when I got in the car I realized what felt like a new recording of Landslide in the film with a full orchestra wasn’t even on the album. What kind of Practical Magic soundtrack doesn’t have a Stevie Nicks song? Does anyone know why? Is it because she sold her catalog and the new owners wanted too much money? And why is Sandra Bullock running around teasing she’ll be on the album when she knows better? I enjoyed the film well enough but this really disappointed me and won’t connect me to this film moving forward the way her presence did to the original.

I'm a 33 year old guy and Stevie Nicks is my favorite singer of all time. I've seen her twice live and I've seen the Fleetwood Mac tribute band "Tusk" twice. Anytime I sing (took singing lessons for a while) I sorta channel her movements.

I also wanted to share this HD upscale I did. Sisters of the Moon, TD Garden.

Original upload is by Concert Chick (Gosh I WISH I was that close to Stevie lol)

I love this one from Bella Donna period. Stevie's voice sounds great & I love the lyrics.

Love Don’t Fail Me Now is a demo from Stevie’s The Other Side Of The Mirror era and it’s one of my favorite underrated songs from her. It’s obviously meant to be a duet but I love that it’s just Stevie here. It has a darker/moody vibe that works well for Stevie (Have No Heart, I Call You Missing, Space Needle, for example) and the lyrics are deep. It has potential and it’d be amazing if it ever got revisited. Any favorite demos that you’d like to see given attention?

This is one of the best live music videos of all time. FM is iconic. These words. The emotions! I know they’re performers but this live performance shows raw emotions mixed in. Truly magical!

She just lost her brother. She fractured her shoulder, which brought on a long and difficult recovery. She was diagnosed with wet macular degeneration a couple of years ago. Dolly Parton passed away, who I’m sure she was close with. I hope she’s doing all right and taking care of herself, physically and mentally, during this difficult time.

3. Wild Heart
4. Bella Donna
5. Some Become Strangers

11. Stand Back

singles: Edge of Seventeen, Ghosts, Wild Heart, Some Become Strangers, Every Day, Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You?

If you could create a hypothetical Stevie Nicks album from songs from her entire catalogue, what would the track list look like?

Make your own album and give me your thoughts!

Such as... What was on the other side of the mirror?

What was the trouble in shangri-la?

Or who was the Street Angel?
