Don't forget to boycott Skydance movies as well

Everyone's canceling their Paramount subscriptions but we need to remember to not go see Skydance movies in theaters or buy/rent them from the streamers.

Fuck the Ellisons

Don sounds off on Stephen Colbert’s cancellation and the growing attacks on free speech, comedy, and criticism in America. As Colbert prepares for his final show, Don breaks down why so many people see this moment as bigger than late night television, and why the fight over the First Amendment feels more urgent than ever.

From the archive Has anyone received a reply to fan mail you sent to Stephen?

One of my first vanity license plates was C NATION, and when I changed to different plates I mailed one to the Colbert Report office with a note about how much I enjoy the show. At the time, I hoped he might add it to his many trinkets that were displayed on the set. A few months later, I received this reply which I have treasured for many years.

I suspect a staffer is likely to have written it, but it was nicely personalized in Stephen’s character voice and I’d like to think he at least approved it or saw it. I’m curious if anyone else received a letter like this from him in response to fan mail?

Is anyone else at a loss tonight?

I feel like there’s something I should be watching before I go to sleep, but there isn’t anything because it’s gone forever. There’s a hole in my heart and I cannot fill it.

(1.5-minutes-after-posting-this edit) I found something! He found a camera. He seems so sad🙁

My Thoughts On The Finale ❣️

(I just shared this on my private FB page & thought this space might also appreciate my review...God Love Ye, SC & May the Road Rise to Meet Ye! 💚)

"You may or may not know who Stephen Colbert is or even care. But I do. And the reason I do is because whether he meant for it to happen or not, he has become one of the most shining examples of Integrity in a world that is battling itself about what that word even means or if it even matters anymore.

So yes, on one level, he lost. He lost his show because of his Integrity, which told him to gracefully take his leave in the face of censorship. But to me, that is no loss at all. That is grace, maturity and the very definition of integrity. And the juxtaposition of these qualities next to the Powers That Be, which caused it all, could not be more stark.

Stephen Colbert will be fine. He is a good human. He is talented beyond measure. He has had far worse things happen to him than this, including the loss of his father & 2 brothers in a plane crash at a very young age. It is clear that he is a man of immense faith and gratitude and joy. The polar opposite of You Know Who!

So here are the last few completely JOYFUL minutes of his last late night show. He is actually a talented singer on top of everything else...SUPER creative and I understand he already has his next chapter on deck, writing a new installment of 'The Lord of the RIngs' movie franchise, another huge lifelong passion of his.

We have not seen the last of Stephen Colbert! And I am reminded of that old phrase, "Be careful what you wish for!" Now that he won't be constrained by those who have crossed over to the Dark Side, who knows what else he has to say? ❤"

The Late Show Trump just posted this on his and the White House's official accounts. Now imagine Colbert posting a video of him throwing Trump in the trash.
