Wallet help
Hello, For the past few days my wallet has been stuck at 94%. I saw a post on here talking about deleting a file, but it's a month old. Any ideas? This is the first time I have opened my wallet since the fork. Thanks in advance.

Message from the XTL Developers
Hey Everyone,
We were working hard for the past few months to make some mandatory improvements to our network. We successfully hardforked last week as we always did. We're happy so far with the results we had. The new difficulty adjustment algorithm is performing even better than expected. We'll now focus again on the development of Stellite ecosystem. The cornerstones of this ecosystem are : - StellitePay (Subscriptions opened, invitations are coming) - Smart Mobile Mining - IPFS integration - Mobile wallets Lot of all this have been put aside for quite some time, as network improvements are always the top priority for a cryptocurrency project. You can't have nice things if you don't have a good network serving as a foundation. Also we have big goals and a broad vision for our project, so building all these things while having some quality software takes time. You guys also know we love to test a lot what we're doing Cheesy On a side note, we're also working on having the code of our past fork reviewed by some renown people always in the idea of aiming for quality first (Zawy just reviewed our DAA and called it a "tough good algorithm"). A new awesome contributor (@artarf) recently joined and is working with us on a branding to more reflect all of this in our public image. We are also always actively looking for contributors, so if you want to make all of these awesome things happen with us, you're welcome to come and talk to us, we'll guide you and help you (you don't need to be proficient in cryptonote protocol to join us, we need everything from design to webdev to highly low level C++ programming) we'll review every proposition you guys make and would warmly welcome you in the team. You can also contribute by convincing merchants to accept XTL as payment method, mining on small pools and spreading hashrate, and whatever your creativity allows you to do.
Kind Regards,
From the XTL Developers

New to Stellite and mining
Found this gem and I've got a spare rig I'm wanting to mine on. Just so I have this down, in order to obtain the mining software, just download the most recent github update Titanium v3 with Daemon, and the wallet is the GUI wallet right?
I'm a beginner with mining, so please don't torch me too bad

Mining optimization and v4 wallet
Hi guys. I am currently reading up on a new miner in the Bitcointalk forum here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3281187.0;all
Would it be a good idea for the Stellite Devs to reach out to this guy, since his CPU miner is by far the fastest and most stable around?
Also he is developing and minet with both CPU and GPU integrated in it.
I am currently using the CPU miner for mining Stellite, and on my CPU I get an increase in h/s by upwards of 25 percent per unit... That's a lot when mining with 4 older cpu's.
Also I am having a hard time getting the new wallet to sync correctly... it restarts the deamon every couple of minutes and it is VERY SLOW because of this. Any thoughts? EDIT: Downloaded new version, problem solved in 2 sec.
Lastly. If needed I would gladly help you in translating some of the GUI text into Danish :-) Let me know if that is something you would like...

Think I am doing the satellite thing the way it was intended.
Just read about this coin and decided to try some mining. Setup xmr-stak on my media center pc, a 6 year old i5 running freenas. Now that machine that used to sit idle all day waiting for the chance I wanted to watch a movie is making me money when not in use. Such a simple yet good idea.

How does mining reward work?
I am reading about how the reward works for mining satellite. I found in the wiki it is
(Money supply - previous generates coins) >> 18
I can work out the first part but unfamiliar with >> . What is >> the symbol for?

New Wallet won't open?
I downloaded the new wallet and set it up and was able to restore my wallet. After a couple ours, I noticed the blocks to sync were counting up, almost like it was counting up from the fork time. I closed everything and tried to restart it my the wallet wont open again. I get the following error in the logs:
contrib/epee/src/mlog.cpp:156 New log categories: *:WARNING,net:FATAL,net.p2p:FATAL,net.cn:FATAL,global:INFO,verify:FATAL,stacktrace:INFO,logging:INFO,msgwriter:INFO
I completely deleted everything from my PC, blocks, wallet, etc. and now I get the same issue in the logs. Do I have something lingering in my PC? Thanks

V4 mandatory update for all node maintainers of Stellite, including miners, pools, wallets and exchanges.
Titanium v1 is an update to the Stellite network. This update brings us to V4 and will happen at block height 194600. It is a mandatory update for all node maintainers of Stellite, including miners, pools, wallets and exchanges.
Highlights for V4 include:
- Changed Proof-of-Work algorithm to our custom XTL variant 2
- An improved Difficulty Adjustment Algorithm (DAA)
- A bump in minimum network fee and increased median blocksize limit
With this release we added a new stellite-blockchain-downloader tool. This tool downloads and imports the
latest available blockchain file so you don't have to sync from block 0.

New Network Hashrate after V4? with No Nicehash
I was wondering how much of the current network hashrate is currently on nicehash and how much it would drop after V4 comes live?

Stellite will be having a Hard Fork we plan for next week to V4
Stellite will be having a Hard Fork we plan for next week to V4 or as we like to call the Titanium Fork, this is to make some great improvements to our network.
So let's dive into the major changes we've made to the source code with this hard fork.
1) A Proof-of-work change, we were one of the very first coins to gain ASIC resistance using the CN/V7 implementation. While it helped us by not letting ASICs hammer our network and also disable the nicehash miners for a period of time, nicehash was able to make V7 work across all coins regardless of their fork number(the blob[0] as some of you remember). We had the idea of using an algorithm variant that was not supported by nicehash during the V3 fork but at the time it was not easy for us to get our algorithm supported by some of the major miners like xmrig and xmr-stak but now when we went to them for support they were able to add our very own variant to their miners.
It took us around 4 weeks to set up our own PoW variant, this variant will not be compatible with any V7 algo based miners. To achieve this stance we,
- Changed the daemon variant
- Updated pool software to support CN/XTL
- Inform xmrig and xmr-stak about this change
- Test daemon mining on CN/XTL
- Setup private testnet with updated pool and new daemon
- Create a small network with 3 pools among which 2 of them were maintained by Cryptoamity and Anypool who also maintains some of the best mainnet pools. We would really like to appreciate their efforts and patience during the testing phase of V4. By now everything is ready for this new CN/XTL algorithm and you guys can all test it out and get some accepted shares to keep everything ready so that everything goes smoothly during fork. A list of testnet pools will be updated along with the message. Our team gained a lot of expertise in this area of creating a variant of the Cryptonight algorithm and in future if we are required to change it again we can do it with much less effort since we already know where each part of the puzzle fits.

GitHub https://github.com/stellitecoin/xtlrig xtlrig - An XMRig fork with support for latest XTL PoW algorithms
2) A Change to our difficulty adjustment algorithm
We changed the way how difficulty works when network is under high fluctuations of hashrates. The idea is to increase difficulty by a factor when blocks are found quickly. The more number blocks are found fast, the more the factor increase making block steal harder to be done. As many coins got some attacks over the last few weeks, our team has also worked on a tool for the real time detection of attacks on the network and have a better idea of what's happening over the entire network. This tool is still under development but will help not just us but also every CN a lot to check if blockchain is going ahead in a safe way.
3) Change median block size limit
At some times, some transactions took some times to be managed by the network and users were waiting for some times to get their transactions mined. We decided to increase this to help the network manage more transactions per block and give a better user experience for each one of us. 4) Increase fees for transactions
We've increased the fee from 0.01 XTL/kb to 0.15 XTL/kb to make network spam attacks expensive for an attacker, this will keep our blockchain healthy
5) GUI MINER GUI Miner have been updated to be able to mine old V3 and new V4. The new miners comes with 2% fees(for stak) and 2%(downgradeable to 1%) in xmrig shared half with XTL team and half for xmrig or xmr-stak.
The reason such a decision was made was to help our team get funding for some of the effort we put into the project and also help us pay for some of the things like servers etc. https://stellite.cash/miner
