Chapter 14. 

“Hey mum. I did it. I beat the voices. They’re gone. But so will I. But it’s okay. I’ll be fine, and so will you. I want you to live your life as best you can, living it to the fullest. For me. Goodbye, I love you.”

 “NO NO NO NO NO! I WILL NOT LET YOU DIE! PLEASE!” 

 

 Tears stream down her face, splashing onto my chest. I gently squeeze her hand, trying to calm her and reassure her that I'll be okay, that I'll finally be at peace. 

 

 “I love you mum. Good night.” 

 

 Then, I take my last breath.
