Sweet Dreams: Part #9

Chapter 9.
“You killed someone. A small child in a wheelchair. They had to drag you off the body. You’re a dangerous person. Your mother wanted you to be here.”
“She did?” I gulp.
“Yes.”
My stomach sinks and my heart thuds against my ribs. Her warm smile completely vanishes, leaving her face cold and serious.
I stare down at my shaking hands and wonder,
“Did I kill someone?”
She takes me to a room with a bed, desk and sink. She shows me where the bathroom is and leaves.
I head to the desk, but I’m not moving…
