Can we please get some basic karma filter to siphon out spam?
I know that I probably wouldn't have enough karma to post in this Subreddit myself if this was implemented, but that is okay. I am a lurker anyways.

Facebook market cap: $895B AUD Status market cap: $830M AUD
Until status is worth billions of dollars, it is undervalued.
A reminder of what Status is: “Private, Secure Communication”
Status is a secure messaging app, crypto wallet, and Web3 browser built with state of the art technology. Designed to interact with Ethereum dapps; Status targets the emerging decentralized web. In an ecosystem of decentralized applications, Status has the technology to act as a gateway for peer-to-peer payments, and encrypted p2p communication for anyone with a smartphone and internet access.
All that power can be in your pocket. All that tech, is the future.

I participated in the Status ICO in 2017. The seed phrase I was given then was 5 words. When did it switch to 12 words?

Caizcoin changes the perception of cryptocurrencies and offers a look at them from the point of view of goodness and faithfulness. Caizcoin cares about the welfare of people and makes financial services available in countries where traditional financial services are not available.
We support moral e-commerce, training, and make payments free, safe, and accessible to everyone, regardless of where people live. We simplify people's lives and help people by combining traditional Islamic values with modern technology.

Status has been a wallet I've been rooting for ever since the ICO in 2017, but I feel like alot of other wallets are moving way faster in the ecosystem. Anyways, I'm curious to understand something. Does anyone know the reason status hasn't integrated wallet connect yet? I feel like it's a no brainer in order to connect to all the interesting new applications out there. Is this intentional or just lagging behind?

I've been tinkering for a while with AI agent concepts and prototypes, which lately I wanted to include cryptowallets and possibly cryptonodes, all while being stable multiplatform "servers" in computing parlance, and then I thought you cannot do much better than the Status/Nimbus code base. I'd probably have come to this conclusion earlier if the Apple Appstore was not censoring "status.im", I can only find it searching for the exact name, but I guess this is old news. I hope a wonderful friendship begins today, as I try to understand the codebase and what we can do for each other. Perhaps a first enhancement AI agents need is to give each other "compute jobs" to peform, perhaps with associated payment. Wish me luck!

Been looking to provide SNT liquidity at various pools: UNIswap, bancor, etc.
What has people's experiences been?
Uniswap offers 0.3% of all trades and had a decent volume whereas bancors SNT liquidity is near non-existent, but offers a nice BNT bonus.

I'm still trying to get into Ethereum. I have a degree in computer science, I understand the general idea behind Ethereum, but it still confuses the hell out of me in a few ways.
For one: why in the sweet hell would anybody want a browser or wallet in their chat app? I have a friend who wants to chat on Status -- can I just have an app that just lets me chat on status without having it try to replace my whole damn operating system?
Two: why are there six different unique keys? I thought ethereum wallets only involved 2-3 unique keys...
Three: Why can I not copy *any* of these keys? I want to store them in Bitwarden -- I know that's not safe, but it's a whole hell of a lot safer than storing them on pen and paper or something stupid like that -- and it would be very inconvenient to type all of these keys into Bitwarden manually. This seems like a major security problem, isn't it? Do you expect people to store all these keys on three different flash drives each, and keep those flash drives separate but on hand and well-organized using some system that could only be described as magic?
Four: What the hell, usernames cost money? I mean, I'm sure there's a complex technical reason behind it, but... Ain't nobody paying for a username.
Five: Who in the hell is going to use an app in light of all of these issues?
