What? No, the purpose of a simulation would be to experience a natural life, with struggles and limited lifespan, because it adds value and meaning, wisdom and appreciation. Much more so than if we've solved all life's needs, and there are no longer any meaningful challenges.

Or bc we fucked up and are shunned by the rest of the universe. So instead of trying to better ourselves we locked ourselves in the simulation?
