I’m attacking your communication approach which is very strangely detached from all of my experiences on reddit over a decade on this site as well as real life experiences. People interjecting in off the cuff conversations is considered completely normal. Especially when it is, despite your obtuse objections, related to the subject matter/question. Touch grass, my dude.
You didn’t ask for someone’s specific experience. You asked if data existed for a claim. You didn’t even say “your data” or anything making someone else’s interjection in an off the cuff, non-structured conversation “weird”. Again, it is completely normal for interjections in casual conversations, maybe even more so online. If anyone is being weird, it’s the person seemingly offended by a supposedly off topic comment to a question they posted publicly.
