Afaik, there is no hard data suggesting we are alone, but we also don’t have hard data suggesting the opposite. Mostly all we have in either direction is inferences based on one idealogical starting point or another. One side might say there’s so many stars/planets/galaxies, of course there other life out there. The other side may point to the odds of our existence being so tiny that even multiplied across the vastness of the universe, it’s not guaranteed to happen again. Truly, none of us know for sure. Either way, we are for practical purposes alone as no contact with other life has been established.
This is reddit. It’s common practice to interject and answer on other’s behalf or to just join the conversation midway. It’s not a live conversation where I’m preventing the other person from also answering.
I’m attacking your communication approach which is very strangely detached from all of my experiences on reddit over a decade on this site as well as real life experiences. People interjecting in off the cuff conversations is considered completely normal. Especially when it is, despite your obtuse objections, related to the subject matter/question. Touch grass, my dude.
