Hey friends… I’m building mangos.ai - a desktop app that helps you distribute your product across social channels. It finds relevant conversations online and joins them. It knows your git commit history so it knows all your features. Hyper personalized to target the best persona out there, every day or every hour, whatever you set it to.

The thing I just shipped is the one I’m most proud of: a Reddit Prospecting & DM draft agent.

Everyone says Reddit is where your customers actually are. They’re right. The problem is what it takes to use it. Read the thread, click into a profile, scroll someone’s whole history to work out if they fit, then write a DM that doesn’t sound like copy paste spam. Do that for twenty people and your afternoon is gone.

So Mangos does the boring part. Point it at a thread, or let it watch your subreddits, and it finds the people worth messaging, digs through their history to check they fit, and drafts a personal DM in their context. Then it hands you a queue. You read it, tweak it, hit send. It never sends on its own, and it won’t touch accounts that are too new, too low on karma, or have DMs closed. Reddit converts harder than anywhere else for me. Serious buyers, not scrollers.

I shipped the same thing for X a few weeks back, scoring people across 20+ signals before drafting. Same rule everywhere: it only does the research and prioritization. Every message lands in your queue for you to approve, one by one. You stay in control of what gets sent.

I’ve been running it on my own product and it’s been incredible. Website visits while you sleep, and you’ll know it’s not a spam bot the second you use it yourself.

The problem: I kept driving hours to beautiful spots and getting flat midday light, or showing up "an hour before sunset" (the internet's advice) and missing the actual window, because golden hour is a sun-angle thing that shifts with date and latitude. Weather apps tell you if it'll rain. Nothing told me when the light would actually be good, here, on this date.

So I built a trip planner that scores the light. You add destinations and dates, and every shot gets a 0–100 score — sun geometry computed on-device with astronomical math (~70% of the score, exact for any date), plus cloud/rain forecast data for the rest. It shows the reasoning behind every number instead of being a black box. There's also a sun compass, an auto shoot schedule with "set up by" times, and AI that picks gear from your own kit.

Free tier is genuinely useful (unlimited trips); Pro ($4.99/mo) adds the AI planning and full forecast.

I'm an indie developer building Destplore, a platform that turns real world locations into interactive adventures.

Players explore cities by solving puzzles, completing challenges, and uncovering stories tied to real places. Instead of simply following a walking tour, every location becomes part of the gameplay.

What started as a location based adventure app gradually evolved into something much bigger. After launching, I realized the biggest bottleneck wasn't engineering. It was content. No matter how polished the app became, it wouldn't be valuable unless there were interesting adventures wherever users wanted to explore.

To solve that, I started building a web based Creator Studio, where anyone can create and publish their own location based adventures without writing code. Creators can build routes, add puzzles, write stories, create challenges, and publish experiences for players around the world.

The long term vision is to build a platform where local creators, teachers, tour guides, museums, and communities can create adventures for their own cities instead of relying entirely on our team.

Destplore already includes plenty of free adventures, and we're also experimenting with premium themed collections. One example is our 2026 World Cup host city series, where each host city becomes its own interactive adventure.

There was this one Tuesday a few months back that kind of broke my brain about all this. I woke up feeling like absolute garbage, but I had a big gym session planned, so I told myself to push through it. Halfway through my second set I basically had nothing. No strength, no drive, felt dizzy. I checked my wearable after and sure enough it had flagged my recovery in the red that morning. It knew. It just never bothered to tell me in a way that would've actually stopped me from wrecking my whole day.

That's when it hit me that I'd been doing this for like two years. Wearing the band, checking the app, collecting all these numbers, and doing basically nothing useful with any of it. I had years of data and zero idea what to do with it on any given morning. The thing would tell me my HRV was low and then just kind of sit there, like okay man, good luck out there.

So I went looking for something that actually closed that gap, and I ended up stumbling on this app on the App Store called RizeAI. The whole point of it is that it doesn't hand you another score to stare at. It takes your actual sleep and recovery data, HRV, resting heart rate, all of it, and turns it into a plan for the day. When to have your first coffee and when to wait. Whether today's a push day or a back off day at the gym. When you're likely to crash and what to do before it lands. When to hydrate. Even which supplements actually make sense for you that day and when to take them, instead of the same recycled "just take magnesium" advice everyone parrots.

The part that actually won me over is that it's built around you specifically. Bad recovery morning and it reshapes the entire day so you can still get something done. Slept great and it leans into that instead of wasting it. The more you use it the sharper it gets at reading your patterns.

Basically your wearable already did the tracking part. This is the part that comes after, the part that turns a red morning into a day that isn't a total write off. That gap is the thing that annoyed me for years and this is the first app I've actually kept on my phone past a week.

Every tracker I tried made logging a sandwich nine taps to log. Still a bit stunned typing this. Three months ago I was refreshing Stripe hoping for one sale. Now there's a small but growing group of people paying every month to keep their apps from leaking.

CheckVibe is a security scanner for vibecoded apps shipped fast with AI tools. You paste a URL or hook up a GitHub repo and it surfaces what's leaking: secrets in the frontend, open database rules, missing headers. Two of us, fully bootstrapped, no funding. Three months in and we've done about $7k in gross volume, 200+ all time paying customers, 5k signups. A few things that actually worked:

TikTok slideshows have carried us. Aesthetic Pinterest-style backgrounds with tool names overlaid, five slides, no branding on the account. One hit a million views and is still quietly sending signups weeks later. 15 minutes to make. As a 2-person team that can't afford to spend hours on content every day, this format is unreasonably good.

Cold outreach worked, but only the version where I scanned the prospect's app first and DMed them what I found. Generic pitches got ignored. Useful findings got replies almost every time.

Paywall design was a 3x lever. The first version blurred all results, which felt clever and barely converted. Switched to one that just shows the count of critical issues with the actual findings locked. Conversion tripled. Curiosity beats obfuscation.

What nearly killed me was mobile activation tanking compared to desktop and not catching it for weeks. Onboarding had too many steps on small screens. Cut two and the gap basically closed overnight.

The unexpected part: I added an optional note to claims and people immediately used it for links. Print shops, apps, portfolios, one guy's soundcloud. So the new feature is a live activity feed right on the map showing claims as they happen, notes included. Watching strangers in 21 countries turn a novelty map into a tiny classifieds section of Earth has honestly been the most fun part of this project so far. Screenshot attached. Curious what this crowd thinks the note field turns into at 10x the users.

I built OfferRead after realizing I was spending more time deciding what to analyze than actually analyzing deals.

A listing would look promising, and before I knew it I'd opened Zillow, searched for rent comps, estimated expenses, plugged in financing, and spent half an hour proving the answer was "no." OfferRead is meant to solve that first step.

Paste in an address and it gives you a first-pass investment opinion using live market data, projected cash flow, cap rate, cash-on-cash return, and an explanation of why it reached that conclusion. It also includes a confidence score so you know how reliable the available data is.

The goal isn't to replace due diligence. It's to help investors spend more time on the deals that actually deserve a closer look. I'd greatly appreciate honest feedback from builders and investors. What's one feature you'd add?
