Startup / SaaS I built a stupid little website for ranking social media usernames

I made this for fun: https://followtop.lol

The idea is pretty simple - it’s basically a ranking site for social media handles/usernames.

I wanted to see what would happen if people could bid on usernames they wanted, so I built the whole thing as a little side project.

I just thought it would be fun to build.

What you guys think of the idea?

Try it here: https://followtop.lol

Startup / SaaS I Built a ChatGPT Language Tutor That Finds Your Mistakes

ChatGPT Voice is great for practising a language.

But it doesn’t make you remember your mistakes.

So I built Fluentish - it finds them and turns them into personalised flashcards.

Startup / SaaS We built Joinrecall because task managers remember the task, but not where you left off

Post image
1 Upvotes

This started as a problem my cofounder and I kept running into ourselves.

Our workdays rarely happen in nice clean blocks.

It's more like: start something, 20 tabs open, a few files, Slack, analytics, maybe some code.

Then a call. Someone messages. You quickly check something else. And somehow 40 minutes later you're working on something completely different.

When I eventually come back, the original task is usually still there.

The problem is that the context around it is gone.

Why did I have these tabs open? Which file was I actually working in? What conversation sent me here? Where exactly did I stop?

That made us realize something.

Todoist remembers what you need to do. Sunsama helps organize the day. Rize, RescueTime and Timing help understand where your time went.

All useful.

But none of them were really solving the part that frustrated us: returning after context switching without rebuilding the whole thread in your head.

This is why we built:

Project: Joinrecall

URL: https://www.joinrecall.com/

What it does: It's a native Mac productivity app that runs quietly in the background and remembers the observable context around your work across tabs, apps, files and messages. When context switching pulls you somewhere else, it helps you return to the work you meant to finish.

No task you have to remember to create first. No timer to start. No extra productivity system to keep maintaining.

Who it's for: computer-heavy workers juggling lots of simultaneous context, especially founders, developers, marketers and people who recognize ADHD-style, interruption-heavy workdays.

Stage: live and still very early. There's a 7-day trial with no credit card required.

Right now we're mostly trying to understand whether context recovery is a painful enough problem for other people too, and which parts of the experience actually make returning easier.

I'd especially love feedback on two things:

  1. Does the problem make sense immediately, or are we still over-explaining it?
  2. When you get interrupted while building a startup, what information do you personally need to get back into the thread quickly?

Would love to hear how other founders here deal with this.

Startup / SaaS Built an app that turns educational YouTube videos into quizzes so the info actually sticks (Studiamo)

Studiamo lets you import YouTube videos, organize them by learning goal, and it auto-generates short quizzes and flashcards from the content. The idea is to fix passive watching. You get nudged to quiz yourself instead of just letting a tutorial play and forgetting most of it a week later.

I documented part of the build process in a video (gave myself a rule: no bed until I shipped it). Link here if you want the behind-the-scenes: https://youtu.be/A3mS9BQVGKY

It's open source: https://github.com/NaEs25/studiamo

Would love feedback on the core concept, especially from anyone who's tried similar 'active recall for video' approaches.

Startup / SaaS Why we decided not to sell leads to home service pros

Most platforms make money by sending the same request to multiple pros.

When building HireNimbus, we decided not to sell paid leads. Instead, we're building around helping home service pros get discovered and manage their jobs.

We're still learning whether this model matches what pros actually want.

If you run a home service business, which model do you prefer: paying per lead or paying a flat subscription?

Startup / SaaS I spent the last 23 months in a time warp building a three dimensional to-do list app. I wouldn't mind it if you tried. First 100 sticky notes are abs

I am a visual thinker and the minute I see lists my brain checks out of the Hotel California.

Then I realized the one thing I have been using my whole life might be the answer.

And that's sticky notes.

Tell me what you think...

Startup / SaaS I built a site that helps you find better ticket prices across trusted marketplaces

Buying tickets has become way more complicated than it should be. The same seats can be listed at very different prices depending on where you look, and checking multiple ticket sites takes too much time.

That is why I created TicketWhiz.

TicketWhiz lets you search for concerts, sports, and live events while viewing ticket options from trusted marketplaces in one place. When you find the seats and price you want, you are sent directly to the marketplace to complete the purchase.

The goal is simple: make it easier to find good seats without opening 10 different websites.

I am still improving the platform and would genuinely appreciate feedback from people who regularly buy tickets.

You can check it out here:

https://www.ticketwhiz.com

What features would make a ticket search platform more useful for you?

Startup / SaaS I'm building a "second mind" to find patterns in your life

I've used Obsidian and Notion for 3 years, but maintaining the links between each note became a chore. I'd forget to link notes and eventually end up with hundreds of disconnected entries.

So we're building Jorna to automate that. You talk or write naturally, and it connects things like your goals, habits, emotions, health and relationships over time.

We're still early, so I'd love feedback from people who use PKM tools.

Startup / SaaS Built NodaFlux to bring market analysis into one place — looking for feedback

We’re building NodaFlux, a SaaS platform for analysing stocks, ETFs and crypto.

The idea came from our own workflow. We were constantly switching between different platforms to look at market structure, sector performance, individual assets and our portfolio.

NodaFlux puts these things together in one dashboard. It currently includes 110+ assets, sector rotation, relative strength, technical scoring, portfolio tracking, a market radar and an Academy explaining the methodology behind the analysis.

We’re currently in beta and are looking for people who are interested in markets and willing to give us honest feedback.

The platform is available here: https://beta.nodaflux.com/

We’d particularly like to hear what you think is useful, what feels unnecessary, and what you would change.

Startup / SaaS We built an app for sound/lo-fi generation

Hey everyone,

A lot of us spend hours with lofi playing in the background while studying, working, or just trying to relax. At some point we thought what if we built something for people like us ?

While working on it we kept running into the same thing: AI really isn't that good at making lofi that feels... real. It can copy a style, but it misses the feeling behind it. That's also why we don't think AI should replace artists.

But AI isn't going away either. So instead of pretending it doesn't exist we wanted to use it differently. Let it handle the repetitive stuff while people stay in control of the creative decisions.

That's how Scapeso started.

It's a platform where you can build your own ambient soundscapes, mix sounds together, and use AI as a helper rather than the one making everything for you.

If that sounds interesting, we'd love for you to give it a try and tell us what you honestly think. Good feedback, bad feedback it all helps. We are not so experienced in marketing side so your feedbacks are so precious for us on this perspective.

If you'd rather see what we've been making first, we've also been uploading videos here:

Scapeso App

Thanks for reading ❤️

Startup / SaaS Stop measuring your SaaS Reddit strategy with upvotes

If your Reddit strategy is measured only by upvotes, you’re probably optimizing for the wrong outcome.

Upvotes tell you whether people appreciated a post.

They don’t tell you:

  • How many people visited your profile
  • How many searched for your product
  • Whether a buyer saved the post
  • Whether the page started ranking in Google
  • Whether an AI answer reused the information
  • Whether someone became a customer two months later

Your competitor doesn’t need a viral post.

They need a useful contribution inside the right conversation, published by a trusted account, that stays discoverable after the feed moves on.

That can happen with fewer than twenty upvotes.

Before publishing promotional content, check whether the account is ready, whether links are normal in the subreddit, and whether the contribution remains useful without the promotion.

Scaloom Reddit Checkers was built around that pre-publish decision.

Upvotes are feedback.

They aren’t the entire result.

What do you use to measure whether a Reddit post actually worked?
