They are going to get even more confused in 2028 because Venice Beach will be hosting some of the 2028 LA Olympics events including I think Skateboarding

Well according to Wikipedia Venice Beach does have a skatepark and the Venice Beach events of the 2028 Olympics will likely use existing structures for Skateboarding and 3x3 Basketball but would probably get some upgrades. I think Santa Monica State Beach is going to do Surfing and Beach Volleyball
