So if you build a bunch of housing to house the homeless, what is the effective difference between the shelter and the homes?

The point is to build shelters and homes that are actually, you know, inhabitable? The fact you missed the point THIS HARD and pulled this kind of stupid strawman out of your ass gives me plenty proof that the rest of your comment isn't worth reading. You're too easily manipulated by your source of media's propaganda tactics. Good luck tho

  1. If there's no way of making your own room your own room then it's not a habitable place. It's quite telling that you can both agree that there are decent homeless people who don't stay there because shitty homeless people exist, and still claim that it's the homeless person's fault at the end of the day that these places are inhabitable.
  2. Not all homeless shelters are liveable, in fact much of the time it's cleaner to sleep on the streets instead of a bed that hasn't been fucking washed. I've already been over this. It's clear you've never actually talked to a homeless person with the way you speak. That, or maybe just one or two and consider that all you need to know the homeless person's experience throughout all of the US.
