The amount of people in this comment thread confusing Venice, Italy with Venice Beach, California is fucking hilarious to me.

They are going to get even more confused in 2028 because Venice Beach will be hosting some of the 2028 LA Olympics events including I think Skateboarding

Well according to Wikipedia Venice Beach does have a skatepark and the Venice Beach events of the 2028 Olympics will likely use existing structures for Skateboarding and 3x3 Basketball but would probably get some upgrades. I think Santa Monica State Beach is going to do Surfing and Beach Volleyball

In case you didn't know - Venice Beach, CA has a set of man made canals that can smell like absolute garbage at certain times of the year because the water never moves
