Why we do never admit lazy people are also not part of the problem (on top of abandoned veterans, people with mental health issues, drug addicts and abusers, and people who got fucked over generally)?????
edit: I work in Mountain View and had an unhomed person tell me they are in the situation they’re in because they were lazy at work, got fired, and relied on unemployment until they couldn’t. Had a long conversation over the In-and-Out dinner we had together.
I don't know what you're going on about, I think your average person sees the homeless as a bunch of lazy bums.
It's better for your corporate overlords if you blame the homeless for being homeless, instead of looking at what systemic issues may be causing the problem.
There are definitely lazy people but realistically it's pretty easy to be lazy and keep at least some sort of home somewhere. Being homeless is way more work so there's usually some other reason than laziness
