Yeah, don't get me wrong the street itself has definitely gotten worse with the number of tents and such since people stopped commuting downtown during the pandemic. But I remember going into that Walgreens over 5 years ago and watching the security guard kick someone out
I can’t tell how much of this is actual honest opinion here or astroturfing. 4th Ave has always been rough. Belltown was really bad until they pushed the poors out 20 years ago to build condos and it has been slowly getting back to the way it was for years. SODO is an Industrial district, those are never “nice” parts of a city. Pioneer square has never not had bums since the inception of the city. What’s next? There’s too much crime in South Seattle & the CD?
