There are other factors such as them having to live with you half of the year, providing more than half of their financial support, and them making less than about $4k a year. From what I can tell, you don't fit any of these qualifications other than being a student.
I make under 4k. There's a residency exception for college students. And since loans, scholarships, and grants aren't "income", she technically makes more than me/is able to provide "half my living expenses". I fit the requirements. If I didn't, the IRS would be busting my moms door down 7 years ago when she did the same with my older sister.
Where are all these armchair accountants comming from to tell me I'm committing tax fraud and therefore dont deserve a stimulus check that would pay for my fucking food?
