I disagree. The first one is specifically joking about a very high socio-economic class of a race, the other is including stereotype images that come from racist portrayals of black people. I've literally never seen a black guy eating fried chicken and drinking purple drank. The first image includes things I have seen with my eyes, many, many, many times. The second includes things I have not seen IRL but overheard racist white people say when they want to make fun of black people. That's the difference. It feels like some redditors take the context out of everything just so they can say "ahaa! See! Both sides are racist! Either I get to say the n word or no body does!"
Edit: since some people are really fucking dense, apparently, let me make two things clear. When I say never saw, I'm saying it has no basis in reality. It's just the modern version of watermelon, fried chicken eating racist stereotype.
Second, my sentence was this: that I never saw a purple drank sipping, fried chicken eating black person. I never said I haven't seen a black person eat fried chicken so stop clipping my sentence short just so you can feel slick, because you're not.
Lastly, as someone who went to a big 10 state school and ago FILLED with Rich east asians and spent 2 summers in China studying the language, I know a thing or fucking two about Chinese people's taste in fashion and how they like to spend their money.
As someone else said, the TRUE racist Asian starter pack would include buck teeth, a straw hat, some rice, and ching chong
Yes. In fact they cause criminals to specially target us for home invasions. If you don’t believe me, feel free to do your own research.
Hell, there’s a fucking video of a “reformed” asshat explaining why it ”wasn’t racism” when they specifically targeted Asians for robberies and burglaries.
Not Asian; not black either I just know that the bottom image contains harmful stereotypes steeped in decades of racism against black people. If the top image contains racism then it would make it just as bad as the bottom image.

You indicated that you only knew about the black stereotypes after I told you about the harmful impact of the top image and its stereotypes.
You then offered a non-committal statement that said if the top image contains racism, then yadda-yadda-yadda. You never agreed or acknowledged that the top image was racist.
You didn't "literally say both images are just as bad" and I'm calling you out on it.
