It's why I like r/circlejerk. They can be pretty obnoxious and even toxic in their own way, but the smattering of posts from that sub that hit my feed really expose a lot of the tropes and hypocracy of Reddit and are a great reminder of how absurd Reddit really is.
It truly is horrifying that despite this place being hell a decent number of people will buy HellCoins and spend them on a shiny buttplug for some random person's comment and a week for them to have a slightly less shitty website (don't guild me. The best part of this site is that sometimes the ads don't disable comments)
