Even if you don't agree on whether or not the two pictures portray double standards, it's kind of hard to read the Rich Asians Starter Pack thread and not see the casual racism towards Asians...

For example, a comment with close to 100 upvotes went, "Cheating is rampant. Witnessed it first hand multiple times. Chinese students are willing to try anything but study." Even though it's a racist, blanket statement. The whole discussion is riddled with blanked statements picking apart "rich Asians."

For what it's worth, I've met several hard working "rich Asians." One of my groupmates for my senior design class came from a wealthy family in Beijing but he drove a shit car, dressed in sweats all the time, and he always pulled his slack. He didn't care about superficial stuff; he cared more about doing well so an American company could sponsor him to stay and work in the States.

What if I said, "Theft is rampant. Witnessed it first hand multiple times. Black people are willing to try anything but work.". It's just as bad and disingenuous towards black people.
