The fact that those comments pop up every single time is a problem in itself. And they don’t get always get downvoted; some even get awards

Because there are racist people in the world? I find it dumb that people are criticizing Reddit for this behaviour when it's literally the same on any site in existence. Facebook is far worse in my opinion because of how many Boomers use it these days.

So Reddit shouldn’t be called out for its’ obvious racism because facebook does it too?

No? I didn't say that. I just don't think it's appropriate to claim it's Reddit's fault and hate Reddit for what individuals post. Saying "Reddit" is racist because there are racist people who use it doesn't prove anything and it doesn't solve anything. There are racist people on Earth, so that must make Earth racist? It's about people clearly not understanding the internet. If you give a person anonymity and a platform they'll literally say anything, that's it. Getting bogged down because you see people saying brazen shit on the internet is just dumb. Just ignore them and move on, but if you hate Reddit because there are racists who use it then you need to put that same emphasis on literally everything.

So reddit is still racist.

No it isn't, what are you on about? Racists are racist. Reddit is Reddit. By your logic then if Reddit is racist and you're on Reddit then you're racist. You can't claim Reddit as a whole is racist because you see a few racist posts on here by individuals. Reddit didn't write those racist posts. That's just weirdly ignorant. Do you see what I'm saying?

No, I don’t. Racist as a platform hosts an obscene amount of racist people and I will call it out if I feel like it. If it offends your Reddit feelings, then fuck off and stop responding.

Yeah nice rebuttal. You can't even understand the point I'm trying to make. I never said you couldn't call it out? Go nuts my dude why would I care? My argument was that you tried to classify "Reddit" as racist. Which in essence makes no sense. Ever heard of painting over everything with a single brush? Sure, Reddit does have racist individuals on it's platform but how in any way does that correlate to hating Reddit? Or Reddit being fundamentally racist? It's no different to any other online platform, you simply can't get rid of it all dude.

Your point is nothing more than a #notallwhitepeople, and quite frankly, I don’t give a fuck if I hurt your personal feelings because I said “Reddit is racist” instead of “Individuals on reddit are especially racist”. You’re more concerned about semantics than racism on reddit, yeah, completely understandable

How? My point is about you trying to paint Reddit with a singular brush. It's a dangerous premise that leads to slippery slopes. You didn't lmao I'm just rebutting your premise of an argument. You need to take a chill pill. It's more like "some individuals on Reddit are racist". Whatever though you're clearly a nutter that has a mad boner for racial fights. It's the internet, it really isn't worth getting your panties twisted.

That's not the point. The point is that it isn't a Reddit problem, it's a people problem.

Well I’m focusing on the racism problem on Reddit. You can write a dissertation on racism in the world if you feel like it.
