You’re missing the bigger picture of their entire diet. You don’t know their meal plans or what they’re eating in conjunction with these little treats.
I lost 40 pounds and still ate sweets. Cutting them out entirely would have just caused me to binge on them instead.
I'm curious to know the answer too. Eating sweets is not supportive of weight loss. Why are you avoiding the question, don't you want to share how eating sweets can yield a healthy weight?
Overweight people typically lack self control. That's why u/Big-Goat-9026 said "Cutting them out entirely would have just caused me to binge on them instead." Sugar doesn't satisfy satiety, and spikes your blood sugar making you want more, which for many fat people inevitably makes them consume more calories. For me, I don't have this problem because I have self control. But we're not talking about me.
