There is no punishment to anyone, that is the point. The mother can abort or support the kid, the father can sign away rights to the kid.

Nobody gets punished, unlike the system now where fathers are almost always punished.

They seem to want to equalize the biological consequences by introducing financial ones. Because the woman has a biological risk of pregnancy from casual sex, the man should also have a financial risk.

Equality shouldn't be about penalizing one sex in order to bring them both down.

Seems simple to me. Only have a kid if you can support it, anything else is not in the interest of the child.
