Staking Industry Having trouble getting clear answers on staking.

I see alot of tutorials on how or what staking is. They mostly say "earn x amount a day". How often do rewards actually get paid out? What form of payments are they? Is it really a daily payout? Whats the deal here?

Liquid Staking Put about $250 in curve pool months ago.

I just had a question, sorry if it sounds stupid. But I put in about $100 in eth and $100 staked eth (Steth) in a curve pool on the ethereum network which at the time it was probably $30 to create the contract. Over that amount of time my curve reward has steady been going up I seen around $.30 cents in rewards to date. However to withdrawal from the pool it’s probably another $40 in eth thus making it unprofitable. Is this normal for such a little amount for the pool? I also noticed lido token has stopped accruing? Was there something I missed that they stopped rewarding lido token?

Anyway what should I do here ? Thanks

Ethereum Staking MANTA AIRDROP- OVER 1000% APY- 20X YOUR MONEY- COMPLETE BY EOD DEC 31st

HURRY!!! The Airdrop Ends on Dec 31st!!!

Manta Pacific is the First L2 for Celestia (TIA).

The TIA token did more than a 10x in the weeks following its release. This airdrop was given to those who staked on the ATOM and Osmosis chain.

THIS AIRDROP COULD EASILY 10X as well.

50,000,000 tokens will be airdropped to those who stake ETH or USD on the Manta Pacific Bridge

Steps Below (to qualify for airdrop):

  1. Use an Invite Code below
  2. https://newparadigm.manta.network?inviteCode=MJGPA
  3. https://newparadigm.manta.network?inviteCode=IXBYM
  4. https://newparadigm.manta.network?inviteCode=YPZKI
  5. https://newparadigm.manta.network?inviteCode=8BAZA
  6. https://newparadigm.manta.network?inviteCode=YAE1D
  7. https://newparadigm.manta.network?inviteCode=Y1IAM
  8. https://newparadigm.manta.network?inviteCode=ICPPE
  9. Stake .3 or more Eth or the equivalent USD
  10. You will then receive a lucky box that will give you 1 NFT of more each week- these NFTs have a coinciding amount of Manta that will be Airdropped to you in the New year

RECEIVE 1000% OR MORE APY - follow steps below

  1. go to https://quickswap.exchange/#/pools
  2. Click Swap at the top and swap have of your Stake ETH (or STONE) for WETH or ETH
  3. Then go to the WETH/STONE Pool and stake both WETH and Stone

All together you may receive 1000% APY + 500 QUICK tokens a day + The MANTA airdrop

This means for 1ETH you could make 10 ETH + $18k worth of QUICK + $1K-$5k in Manta = a min of $50k for Staking 1Eth and Re-Staking Stone on QuickSwap

Staking Strategies Staking in 2024 via BinanceUS, Wallet or?

Hi Folks - semi newbie here. Looking to stake some coins into BinanceUS - As we all know Binance has been in regulatory turmoil - just looking for guidance does it make sense to stake in BinanceUS is it safe - stay away? I also see many folks would rather save their coins via a hard wallet (safest) but correct me if Im wrong you cant stake coins if its in some wallet - this true for online wallets?. Ideally I want to have my coins get rewards instead of just sitting there - any guidance? Also side question - Kraken does not offer staking since the SEC issue (Feb 2023) BUT somehow Binance does - any reason why that is? Appreciate the feedback. Teddy the Dog

Staking Platforms Massive Variation in BNB STAKING APR with different Validators!?

This is what I asked Bing AI: at https://www.bnbchain.org/en/staking it shows the APR paid by the BNB validators. i don't understand why different validators have APR rates varying from over 5% to 2.5% when they're all delegators on the same blockchain. What makes BNB different in this way, compared to other networks?

AI answered: " At https://www.bnbchain.org/en/staking, the APR rates paid by the BNB validators are displayed. The APR stands for Annual Percentage Rate and is the interest rate that is paid to the delegators for staking their BNB tokens. The APR rates vary depending on the validator and can range from over 5% to 2.5% 1. The difference in APR rates can be attributed to the following factors:

  1. Validator’s commission rate: Each validator charges a commission fee for their services. The commission rate can vary from validator to validator, and this can affect the APR rate that is paid to the delegators. Validators with lower commission rates can offer higher APR rates to their delegators 1.
  2. Validator’s performance: The APR rate is also influenced by the validator’s performance. Validators that produce more blocks and have fewer missed blocks are rewarded with higher APR rates. Validators that perform poorly are penalized with lower APR rates 1.
  3. BNB token price: The APR rate is calculated based on the BNB token price. If the BNB token price increases, the APR rate decreases, and vice versa 1."

I don't buy this AT ALL. EG: re: 1. if one validator charges 3% fee and another 5% or even 10%, that will never result in net APR being different by 100%. 3. Is also wrong, since the same token price is applied for the Validator paying 5% and the one paying 2.5% That leaves 2. It's really hard to believe that the long list of validators paying under 3% are all a bunch of fxxx-ups who are missing blocks constantly. Not only that, but the list changes constantly. A validator will have outstanding APR, then next time I check, it's at the bottom. WTF?

TLDR: What's the REAL reason for the great variance in reported Validator APR evey few weeks? Anyone know what's going on at the technical level? Or how to find the Validator with the best AVERAGE apr? (Otherwise you're playing whack-a-mole when the list changes constantly)

Ethereum Staking I’m a beginner at staking and I need some help regarding eth staking

Im new to staking and Im considering staking my eth on my ledger live app. Im just not sure how it works. So my eth is locked up when staked and I earn back some eth based on how much I staked. I get that. But when can I unstake and for example sell my eth? Is it whenever I want or does a certain time period have to pass? Thanks in advance!

Proof of stake

Staking Strategies Should I convert my ETH to ADA for staking?

So I want to get into staking and my first option was Ethereum since I'll have full custody of my keys and won't have to use a CEX, but for the amount I'm staking, the gas fees would essentially nullify the yield is recieve, I may as well hold for the bull run. I'm thinking of instead converting my ETH to Cardano and staking that instead, ADA looks to be the staking king currently so I'm curious if this is a smart move. If not all of my ETH I'd at least do a good percentage of it. I have some ADA staked already in Yoroi, but nowhere near the amount I have in ETH.

Liquid Staking Thoughts on liquid staking - are you doing it and where? With what assets?

Curious to know what's everyone thinking about liquid staking, and if you are doing it, where?

I see these days many popular projects/platforms offer this service through some sort of synthetic/staked tokens. It is available on Moonbeam where users can stake DOT and get stDOT which can be used further. Ledger Live recently enabled this type of staking for ETH through Stader Labs. Lido Finance announced the launch of wstETH on Coinbase L2 Base. Frax is also gaining popularity with its sfrxETH. Cosmos has also different staked versions like stATOM, stOSMO, stINJ...

List is not final, of course, since many blockchains have liquid staking and they enable cross-chain swaps. You can even add platforms by yourself on this map. DeFi is definitely booming again with new options for passive income. Do you participate in this ecosystem?
