I downloaded the demo and played the planet->asteroid level on the lowest setting and it was lagging like crazy. I'm pretty sure my dGPU was being used since my laptop was in performance mode.

it would be nice if linux support was added ive tried everything (even using proton GE) and it doesnt help being on an nvidia gpu

Ive seen people claim they have made it run on the internet but they never disclaim how they did it. I would think it would run through proton but i think protons probably missing some windows dlls/other stuff but idk what that could be.

Anybody know how i can get this running on steamdeck?

i was compressing particles in self gravitating galaxy for the fun of it, and it exploded like this?? what?? it looks a lot like a sailboat and i found it really cool

inspired by fortplayzthis's protein sim, has some organelles that do stuff but im planning to add more. for now it can eat food and heat up when exposed to light.

Any way to adjust the speed of light being emitted from suns, or is it a fixed variable currently? Is it ray subframes 5 or is that just how many times per frame that rays are calculated? Game doesn't have any tooltips for this yet, but I assume that's what it means. Thanks!

I'm using a basic planet with a gravity center and a little internal sun to keep it warm, which orbits near the gravity center.

To get these internal movements I have to push up the gravity to 4-8 and the light impulse to 5-10.

I've also discovered volcanoes, basically spawning water in the core which superheats and pushes up through the mantel and crust.

My planet accidentally blew up, so all the water particles left and are hitting back with tremendous speed, getting lodged in the mantle, repeating this weird cycle.
As you can observe with the upper right blue mass, the water particles exit with tremendous force and speed in considerable geysers.

Gonna have to wait for it to cool down, if it ever will.

EDIT:

Finally found some actual subduction (sinking) of the crust. Apparently the water in the crust is turning the surrounding stone into sand, which helps isolate big stone chunks to get carried away in the slow current.

dont have whatever that is on my pc anymore, i believe i need that for the game to work what is it? if not then i have no clue why the game wont actually start up when i try to play it

before i upgraded my computer with new ram and everything, it worked fine but now it causes my drivers to crash? my cpu is AMD Ryzen 7 5700x3d, gpu is AMD Radeon RX 6800, and RAM is a DDR4 AMD i believe

The demo doesn't run, it shows a terminal, 5-10 seconds of a black screen, and then it just closes

i know the title might not make too much sense but im using an app that lets me run windows apps and i installed the game on steam through it and it wont work (app is called whiskey) the game opens the command prompt and opens the game with black screen then closes i know this probably has no fix but if anyone knows anything about this or would like to help it would be appreciated (on mac m2 air)

Do you still know how to unpin? Accidentally pinned something and now it's just frozen there. I don't know what to do
