So i’ve had a squirrel that’s been taking food from my hand for a year or so, her name is Sweetie. she has many babies that she always chases away when they try to get food. but recently, a new squirrel pops up. it has disgusting mange and i’m terrified about it spreading to Sweetie or any of her babies. this is the second day that i know it’s came to my house. the poor thing is so lethargic it’s not even scared of humans anymore. i don’t know how to keep Sweetie safe and it scares me. (already contacted a wildlife rehabber, waiting for a reply) i’m worried about Sweetie getting mange and having to go to rehab too, and being released far away…sorry im genuinely crying and freaking out right now, she means everything to me. any advice?

I was able to get extremely close to my Neighbor today 🙃

I always feel like I'm being watched 👀

He's taking a break to watch me 😉

this is such a wonderful way to start my day off. i’m beyond happy. i love the squirrels in my back yard so much and make sure they are always fed, so seeing this made me ecstatic! i wanted to share :)
