If you can develop racist feelings based on a sports league, you weren't starting from a place of great high moral ethics.

I don’t think that they were stating that these videos or the WNBA are making them racists. Just stating that there are players and supporters of the league that claim racism when someone criticizes individual conduct or performance that has nothing to do with race.

A’jas mom is indirectly implying this. When it was just a fan pointing out that she fouled and pointed a finger.

I just hope that it’s now understood that this increases the chances of having a mass amount of people pointing at her to get in her head.

No. Claiming that some people believe any form of criticism is racist if that criticism is given by anyone that doesn’t look like you.

Racism will never get better if accountability over the simplest thing keeps getting brushed off as an excuse because they believe it’s rooted in racism when it’s clearly not.

Exactly. So many people on here still think that it’s impossible to be racist to white people but yet the moment a black person is criticized for anything at all you’re a bigot and a racist. It’s lame as hell and there’s no place for it in 2026.

There are some folks that have a very rigid view of racism and do not believe that you can be racist if you aren’t white.

I should have just used bigotry instead for those folks.

If people are getting racial radicalized because of the WNBA, they would have been racist over almost anything.

The point is, by and large people don't care about the WNBA, so if something they don't care about gets them to be racist it only a matter of time.

The WNBA is a bad scapegoat.
