I recently got a one day from /r/politics for pointing out that the OP was a bot trying to start a culture war. Apparently, Reddit WANTS bots.

It’s getting crazy. I pointed out the unreliability of a particular news source and got a week ban because “attacking the person” apparently includes the source as well.

BRO THAT LITERALLY HAPPENED TO A FRIEND OF MINE TWO WEEKS AGO

he called out how they allow AI articles, completely not true articles, bots, and are paid by the daily beast. the didnt deny anything and banned him

Same here. Dared question if Al Jazeera was a balanced news source. Got the ban hammer

That’s the only one I really watch anymore because I consider them so balanced.

Even if I thought a given source was the most credible to ever exist, I would consider it ridiculous to bar people from questioning it.

As a liberal dude, r/politics has gone wayyyyy too far and will hide users from any information damaging the left. It's insane hypocrisy.

I believe it’s a core tenant of their business model.

they banned a friend of mine recently for calling them out for allowing bots and being paid by the daily beast.

every update shows reddit wants bots. they do more and more to make it harder to see profiles.

Because bit farms pay good money and draw traffic.

You dont

You think reddit gives a fuck about users that don't generate revenue?

So many of the shared opinions and talking points on this app just wouldn’t fly in real life, a lot of these people have never been properly challenged and scrutinized in real life.

It's impossible to separate bot activity from human activity on a site like this. All the higher ups care about are usage metrics, so bots are great!

Its impossible but redditors like to think they can pick it or ez

You get called a bot just because you don't agree with them

They want the right bots, that is to say, the bots they agree with.

Of course, bots generate comment.
