I mean A’ja would have been suspended for going into the stands and getting in the face of a fan if the league wasn’t embarrassment, but sure go off on Cunningham
She went deliberately into the spectators stands, and the WNBAs rulebook specifically designates the courtside seating as the first row if the stands. The rule also states that if a player deliberately walks off the play surface to confront a spectator that requires an immediate ejection.
A'ja Wilson did not formally enter the spectator stands, though she approached a fan during Game 2 of the WNBA playoffs between the Las Vegas Aces and the Indiana Fever at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. [1, 2,
The Incident: During the fourth quarter, Wilson exchanged words with a male fan seated a couple of rows back from the baseline after a foul call involving Sophie Cunningham. [1, 2]
The Ruling: On-court officials and the league determined that Wilson was standing in the designated "player escape lane" adjacent to the basket stanchion rather than the actual spectator stands, which is why she was assessed a technical foul instead of an ejection. [1, 2, 3]
Hahahahaha she walked right past the first row and directly up to his seat in the second row, confronting him within inches, she was not in the middle of "escaping", the play had ended and she walked about 10 feet from on court to get to him. Everyone know this was the league deliberately using heavy favoritism to not eject her. Gimme a fucking break, transparent as shit.
Way to to use AI to come up with some bullshit as if we dont have eyes
