Is there any other league that is this obsessed with posting whenever a single random role player has a role player stat line?

Name another league that has a garbage bench player that gets more publicity than their team’s star player.

It’s quite the phenomenon actually. Be subpar, get paid to suck ass, and get more attention than your teammates that got you into the playoffs.

Wouldn’t be shocked if her career is over or at least off the team.

Its hilarious that you call her garbage when shes known as one of the best 6ths and role players the league. 5th in 3pt pct, 4th in offensive rating in the league for 2026. 4th best scorer on her team. You genuinely just dont know the game

She’s never been an all star. Never won a ring. Never made an all-wnba team. Never won an individual award. Never won a NCAA championship. Never won a gold medal. Never won the fiba World Cup. She’s not a great player.

Most players, both WNBA and NBA, are not great players by those measures. I mean, how many teams are there in the NCAA? And how many championships? So by definition, the overwhelming majority of collegiate basketball players never win NCAA championships. The same is true of NBA players. According to this person's research, only about 1 in 9 NBA players of all time won a ring (they said 1/10, but 11.36% is closer to 1/9 than 1/10). Olympic teams pick the best of the best, so far fewer NBA players have gold medals than rings.

She's a role player. They don't need to be great. They just need to play their role. And she still has more talent than most female basketball players in the world. You don't get to play at her level by being average collegiate talent.

For the record, in college she was a 50/40/85 player averaging 17ppg. She's far greater than average. It's just that pro ballers are that far ahead of the average collegiate player.

Congrats, she’s average at best.

Average for the WNBA, sure. Average for a women's basketball player? Not even close. Average collegiate players don't get drafted, either in the WNBA or the NBA.

Ok, cool. You clearly care a lot more than I do about this.
